Telerama's Privacy Policy

Telerama Respects the privacy of its subscribers.

All user account information including e-mail addresses, messages, personal contact information, credit card numbers and billing history is considered confidential. Telerama Internet does not in any way inspect or utilize data from individual customer files, except when required to perform system maintenance or provide customer support, for purposes of notification, in cases where a user is suspected of violating our Terms of Service through abuse of network services, or in aggregate as described below.

The release of confidential information to a third party occurs only upon the force of law, such as issuance of a court order. The only exception to this is in the event of a major corporate transaction, such as merger or acquisition, in which case a new legal entity may assume control of customer information. In such a case, the new entity will be required to respect customer privacy in the same manner as described here.

Notification Explained

Information is never shared with a third party, and in particular Telerama does not provide lists of email addresses, postal addresses or telephone numbers to anyone outside of the company.

However, Telerama does reserve the right to correspond with users. There are two major classifications of correspondence. The first is for operational purposes, which may include invoicing, service renewal notices, payment notification, customer support, and automated or customer-initiated responses from account control mechanisms (such as the spam-control panel web page). The second is for purposes of customer relations, and includes newsletters; notification of changes to services, policy or procedure; announcements of new services; and invitations to on-line or off-line events such as online chat sessions, seminars, lectures, customer appreciation events, or service launches.

Aggregate information

We may share non-personal, aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, demographics, traffic patterns, and related service information with the press, prospective and current investors, strategic partners, and others. However, none of the information we disclose in this aggregate form can be used to personally identify you.
